We hope you’ll join us for an unforgettable Educational Tour to El Salvador, February 15–23, 2027!
This meaningful journey offers the opportunity to connect with local organizations, discover El Salvador’s rich culture and history, and experience the country’s beautiful landscapes while learning about the inspiring work of our community partners.
We’ll visit two of Horizons of Friendship’s valued partners:
ACUDESBAL – Working with 29 communities to strengthen climate resilience, improve disaster preparedness, protect the environment, preserve cultural identity, and encourage youth engagement.
Asociación Los Angelitos – Supporting children and young people with disabilities through education, rehabilitation, family support, employment training, and advocacy for inclusion and equal opportunities.
Our all-inclusive tour package covers flights, meals, hotel accommodations, transportation, translation services, and admission to scheduled activities.
We’d love to have you with us for this special opportunity to learn, connect, and experience El Salvador while seeing firsthand how local partnerships create lasting change!

Tour of 2026 to Guatemala!
Other Highlights of the Tour:
Antigua – strolled cobblestone streets lined with colonial churches and monasteries, explored local museums, and immersed ourselves in Guatemala’s vibrant culture.
Boat Tour – spent the day on the shores of Lake Atitlan, exploring the highlands, with stops at viewpoints along the way.
ChocoMuseum Experience – explored the history of cacao from bean to bar (and tasted the results).
🏝 Flores, Petén – wandered this picturesque island town and soaked in its colorful charm.
🏛 Tikal National Park – stepped back in time to discover the ancient Maya city, a UNESCO world heritage site surrounded by lush rainforest.
This tour wasn’t just about seeing the sights – it was about connecting with people, ideas, and history, while understanding social changes that the country is facing.
Our travel group came home with new knowledge, new friends, and a deeper understanding of Guatemala’s resilience and experienced first hand the real on the ground impact of Horizons and local partners.
