Tour of 2026 to Guatemala!
Other Highlights of the Tour:
Antigua – strolled cobblestone streets lined with colonial churches and monasteries, explored local museums, and immersed ourselves in Guatemala’s vibrant culture.
Boat Tour – spent the day on the shores of Lake Atitlan, exploring the highlands, with stops at viewpoints along the way.
ChocoMuseum Experience – explored the history of cacao from bean to bar (and tasted the results).
🏝 Flores, Petén – wandered this picturesque island town and soaked in its colorful charm.
🏛 Tikal National Park – stepped back in time to discover the ancient Maya city, a UNESCO world heritage site surrounded by lush rainforest.
This tour wasn’t just about seeing the sights – it was about connecting with people, ideas, and history, while understanding social changes that the country is facing.
Our travel group came home with new knowledge, new friends, and a deeper understanding of Guatemala’s resilience and experienced first hand the real on the ground impact of Horizons and local partners.
